From Greg Russo: ""Wipe Out" and "Surfer Joe" were recorded at Pal during December 1962. The single was released three times in early 1963 before its hit release on the Dot label. In June 1963, the other Surfaris tracks were recorded at Pal. Only some of the tracks survive, but only two of them ended up on the Sundazed label single. There are others that have not been released yet." |
